Community Profile



The town of Labo is the largest in the province of Camarines Norte. It is composed of 52 barangays or 284 Puroks with an aggregate land area of 648.84 km² occupying more than 25% of the total land area of the province. Labo is approximately 335 kilometers south of Manila and 15 kilometers away from Daet, the capital town of Camarines Norte. A 1st class municipality in the province of Camarines Norte, it has a population of 81,388 people in 15,786 households based from 2000 census.


Labo is an agricultural center of the province with abundant farming products like pineapple, root crops, corn and coconut. In addition, forest products remain to be one of the leading sources of income for many laboeƱos such rattan, bamboo, and other handicrafts.


With the steady economic growth observed in the past years, concrete and feasible programs on the part of the elected officials and full cooperation among its citizens, Labo is not far from being a progressive city where living is comfortable in a value-laden community.
